Sony Pictures will produce the film, which was inspired by Dan’s upcoming memoir, in conjunction with Jerrod Carmichael. Described as a “high-stakes coming-of-age story,” Ange Giannetti and Maia Eyre will oversee the project for the studio.
More details are set to be released soon. In the meantime, watch Life + Times intimate interview with the streetwear pioneer and childhood friend Pee Wee Kirkland after the jump.
